NFL Team Spotlight - Bills
The Buffalo Bills are a team that needs to upgrade the Offensive Line. The recently hire former Georgia Tech Head Coach Chan Gailey (also coached the Cowboys). One of the changes that Gailey is looking to do is to convert the defense from a 4-3 to a 3-4 scheme. That would make defense another area of need for this team. If they go with the defense look for them to draft along their front seven. They have are good secondary that ranked among the league’s best. Their offense is one of the worst in league and needs some help.
Some players to consider on defense would be DT Dan Williams from Tennessee, OLD Jason Pierre-Paul from South Florida, or OLB Derrick Morgan from Georgia Tech. If I picked a player from that group it would be Derrick Morgan. To me it makes sense to pick him because he is Gailey’s kind of player, having played for him in College. Plus the NFL more than any other sport is all about getting guys that fit in and will buy into what a coach is doing another way to put it is they are “their guys”. You never once heard Oklahoma City Thunder say well we like Kevin but we aren’t sure if is Pj Carlesimo kind of guy!! Heck I hope that is who their coach was! My whole point is that NFL teams tend to do better when the coach can get players that fit their system and not just the most talented player. Examples would be Bill Belichick, Bill Parcells, and even old Wade Phillips got into the action last year!
Ok I have bored everyone good enough now that I think it is fair for me to tell you who I think they will end up with…. And the pick is OT Trent Williams out Oklahoma! Their offensive line was so bad it was like watching a fat kid do ballet in a pink leotard! They have not been nearly as good since they traded Pro Bowler Jason Peters to the Eagles. The pickup of Williams will allow them to have a more productive offense.
This is a video of the Bills off-season workouts for the OL! And we wonder way they weren't any good!

His footwork might just be the best of any OT in the game. Now to work on his hands...
