Utah Football Suspends a QB

The Utes have suspended "Tyler Shreve, an 18-year-old California quarterback who signed a letter of intent with the University of Utah on Feb. 3, has had his scholarship suspended indefinitely. Shreve faces misdemeanor battery charges after allegedly assaulting his high school baseball coach in an incident on Feb. 24." Story was provided by Deseret News.

Two interesting facts:
1- He likely was going to be a 1st round draft pick into the MLB which meant he really wasn't going to play football! This definitely hurt that.
2- His parents were in the room when he beat up his baseball coach! Ha! Ha! 1280 the zone's Gunther and Jan J. played this out yesterday on the air. Hilarious!
