L.A. Regains the Advantage.
After a slow start for the Lakers in the first quarter, Kobe Bryant leads the purple and gold to victory with 29 points...or did he? Derek Fisher switched rolls with Kobe and showed tonight that he was capable of being Mr. Clutch in the closing minutes of the 4th quarter. With two key jumpers and a full contact lay in, Derek Fisher showed everyone in the league that he can still be a go to man. Derek finished with 16 big points, and during the closing game interview stated that he loves this team and is really excited for the outcome of this season. Did he go forward in time like Biff from Back to the Future and steal the bookies stats? How does he know this seasons outcome? In spite of this comment D. Fish played as an All-Star in game 3.
The Lakers showed great defense again on Pierce, only allowing him to shoot 5-12 ending with 15 pts. and 2 boards. Ray Allen with his record setting 3 point clinic in the previous game went cold going 0-13 and finishing with on two points scored on the solid stripe. The big ticket came to play, and Big Baby showed great energy off the bench but all was short of the ultimate goal.
The Celtics have a must win coming up on Thursday night and big performances by the starting 5 are crucial. The Celtics cannot rely on the bench to pull them through tough times like the Lakers can. Rondo is showing that he is one of the leagues premier guards in the league, and its another performance of near perfection from Rondo the Celtics will need to even out the series 2 all. We already know that Pierce won't show, so why not rely on the new guy.

If I could get rich off of anything in the world, i would choose betting sports!
