Sources confirmed (multiple tweets including @ScottyGKFAN from 1320 Kfan) that the decision makers from the PAC 10 were in Utah Sunday to have a sit down with the decision makers on the hill at the U of U. The university of Utah has been everything from a lock to a rumor to a long shot over the past few weeks in joining the future PAC-(insert number here). This news definitely strengthens the idea that Utah is indeed on the radar of the PAC-10. It also means that even after coming here, neither side has made an announcement or even an "unintentional" leak of an offer. That is because the PAC 10 is doing to Utah what the MWC did to Boise, keeping them on the line but checking to see if they can get something better first. Like Kansas?
This is HUGE news for the locals around SLC and Provo(for jealousy reasons), but in the national picture I've got news for you... It's at or near the bottom of interest level in the College Football conference dance. When Texas A&M is teetering between the SEC, the big ten(long shot), the future big 12, or the numberless for now PAC-__, the Utes are still the third or forth girl on the PAC 10's dance card. But be patient Ute fans. With rumors coming from a few reliable sources saying that Texas and all of it's followers, and A&M's romance with the SEC is all about to come to a head this next week, the Utes just might get to go to the ball! So let the really good looking people into the club ahead of you, wait out side and try not to look desperate, and the bouncer (Larry Scott) might just "find" your name on the guest list.
But what about the MWC????
More to come.
*update: David locke and multiple others now reporting it's likely that Texas will stay put in the new BIG 10(previously the BIG 12) This is REALLY good news for UTAH!

who knows?
Ute fans are now for a limited time only, inviting BYU Fans to repent and switch sides. Let us all bleed red and have one heart and one mind. Being a BYU fan is like being stuck in the telestial glory...its ok but yure not going anywhere.
Concerning Heaven: I'd rather be turned away in BLUE than SNEAK in in RED!
