YES! I’ll say it; He is the closest thing to Karl Malone I have seen to date. What I find incredible about him is he has the body right now that took Karl 6+ years to develop! At 6-10, 250lbs. (yea right, he’s got 15+lbs. on that) he is becoming not only the obvious choice for R.O.Y., but if he is able to shave off a few of these lower scoring games and somehow bring his young clippers to the 8th seed (doubtful), he should then be a long shot for MVP!
The next question has to be then are the 2010 Clippers equal to the 2008 Thunder- a team one season away from being a true playoff team? I couldn’t tell you for sure, but I would think they have to be making a good amount of noise by 2012. With the appearing of their guard of the future, Eric Bledsoe (Comparable to Westbrook?), I think they have some pieces in place to contend.
O.K., I’ll stop the Griffin love fest… Just thought the comparison with K. Malone was pretty accurate, and wanted to see what others thought.

This is a completely legitimate comparison. In Karl's rookie year he play in 81 games and averaged 15 points and 8 boards a game. Griffin averages 19 points and 11 boards a game but does have an inch on Karl. Both are weighing in at 250 during their rookie seasons. Malone finished 3rd in the rookie of the year race...Where will Griffin fall?
IT WILL BE FUN TO WATCH THIS GUY FOR A LONG TIME... IF HE CAN STAY HEALTHY.
